Watch Care and Guide Lines Policy
1. QUALITY ASSURANCE
At VintageLuxWatches, we are dedicated to offering our customers top-quality vintage and pre-loved timepieces. Each watch is meticulously inspected to confirm it is in working order before being listed on our website. This involves a comprehensive evaluation of the watch's functionality, including a thorough examination by our certified watchmaker, who ensures that the battery is either cleaned or replaced as needed.
If a watch is not functioning properly, this will be clearly indicated in the product description. We encourage our customers to carefully examine the description, condition, measurements, and images of each watch to ensure it meets their expectations.
Furthermore, we conduct a final inspection before shipping every watch. This last check includes a video recording of the process, serving as a record for quality assurance and insurance purposes. This guarantees that the watch maintains the condition promised at the time of purchase, reinforcing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
For further details on specific conditions, please refer to our Condition Rank.
Please note that although we thoroughly inspect each watch multiple times, we cannot guarantee the lifelong functionality of its parts, movement, or other components, as all our pieces are vintage or pre-loved and carry their own unique histories. We are not liable for any age-related damage.
2. TRANSIT AND DELIVERY
a. At VintageLuxWatches, we take every precaution to ensure that our watches, including their batteries, are securely packaged for shipping. However, we cannot be responsible for the condition of the watch battery upon arrival. Factors such as mishandling, exposure to liquids, or temperature fluctuations during transit can affect battery performance, for which VintageLuxWatches is not liable.
b. We recommend that customers inspect the overall condition of the watch immediately upon receipt. If you believe the watch was compromised during transit, please notify us within 48 hours. For detailed information on our shipping policies, including handling of damaged, stolen, or lost items in transit, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
3. BATTERY LIFE
a. The battery life of each vintage/pre-loved watch can vary, and we cannot guarantee its longevity after purchase.
b. To ensure the watch's durability and functionality, we advise replacing the battery annually. Please note that the responsibility for battery replacement lies with the customer after the purchase.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
VintageLuxWatches shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vintage watches. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise.
5. PART REPLACEMENTS
Depending on the watch's condition, some parts used in repairs may not be from the original manufacturer. This may include components such as the case, glass, leather, movement, or clasp. Given that our vintage watches are often over 20 years old, using original manufacturer parts for repairs is sometimes not feasible. However, we strive to maintain the original design as much as possible. Our priority is to ensure the watch's functionality and longevity, which may require using high-quality replacement parts that match or exceed the original specifications.
6. HANDLING AND CARE
VintageLuxWatches is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use or care of the watches. We recommend that customers handle their vintage timepieces with care, avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme conditions, and physical impacts that could cause damage. Detailed care instructions can be found in our Maintenance and Usage Tips.
By purchasing a vintage/pre-owned watch from VintageLuxWatches, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this policy
